Kristen Rosero

As a political scientist teaching at a polytechnic university, my role here is to introduce students not only to political concepts and realities, but more importantly demonstrating how we are all both influenced by and can influence policy. My teaching interests span both U.S. and international politics, with particular emphasis on development, sustainability, urbanization and technology policy. My favorite courses include Science & Technology Policy, Technology & Economic Development and International Security. My teaching dovetails with my research interests in international development, which focus specifically on how gender and representation intersect with things like development finance, health, and urban development.
