International Students Discuss Their Journeys to Wentworth

In recognition of International Education Week, a group of Wentworth International Students discuss why they chose the university and what that experience has been like thus far.  

Wentworth enrolls approximately 200 international students from 56 different countries, in addition to 13 exchange students from four countries.

Building Diversity in AI

As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly integrated into society, numerous studies reveal a lack of diversity in the field that poses a risk of perpetuating historical biases and power imbalances.

A recent report published by the AI Now Institute at New York University found that more than 80 percent of AI professors are men and only 15 percent of AI researchers at Facebook and 10 percent of AI researchers at Google are women.

WIT Earns High Marks in U.S. News, College Factual Rankings

U.S. News & World Report and College Factual have released their respective 2022 rankings for best colleges with Wentworth Institute of Technology earning high honors in both publications. 

U.S. News & World Report named Wentworth to four of its categories for “Best Colleges,” including moving the university up seven spots from last year in the Regional Universities category. 

Leopards Move In

Wentworth Institute of Technology welcomed new Leopards this week and welcomed back familiar faces as classes began and students move back to campus. 

Susan Duffy Named Associate Provost

Wentworth Institute of Technology has appointed Dr. Susan G. Duffy to the position of associate provost for Transformational Learning and Partnerships, effective September 20. She will also hold the title of associate professor in the School of Management. 

School of Architecture and Design Names Sedef Doganer as Dean

Wentworth Institute of Technology has named Dr. Sedef Doganer its new dean of the School of Architecture and Design. She will also hold the title of Professor of Architecture.
