In her eight years at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Katie DePrimo has not seen an alumni event imagined at the scale of the upcoming Alumni Day ’22. 

Wentworth Institute of Technology will soon undergo a spring refresh as roughly 50 new light pole banners will be installed around campus in the coming weeks.

As he spoke before a late-afternoon audience in the Center for Engineering, Innovation and Sciences, Michael Santora recounted his journey from Wentworth Architecture graduate in 2005 to founding his own companies and now returning to campus to work with students on the development of a robot. 

Longtime member of the Wentworth Institute of Technology community Annamaria Wenner will be honored at the 2022 Spring Commencement ceremony with an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree. 

Wentworth Institute of Technology’s 2022 Spring Commencement keynote speaker is a trailblazer who has dedicated herself to enacting environmental and social change.  

Wentworth Institute of Technology held its 15th annual Women @ Wentworth event on March 31, honoring woman-identifying student leaders and presenting the Woman of the Year award. This year’s event was particularly special as it marked 50 years since the first women were admitted to the university.  

“Know your history,” urged Vice President of Equity and Inclusion Nicole Price, establishing the theme of the day.  

Two Wentworth Institute of Technology partnerships with local high schools have been officially designated as Early College programs by the Baker-Polito administration.  

Wentworth faculty often find creative solutions, techniques, and strategies to engage their students, which includes integrating technology into the classroom. Nasser Yari, Ph.D., P.E., Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering, has found that Lightboard technology is one of the most innovative and effective methods of delivering online lectures to students in his Civil Engineering courses.  

Wentworth Institute of Technology is among 38 universities advancing as finalists in the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2022 Design Challenge. 

Spring has arrived! With the new season officially here, Wentworth Institute of Technology students (and at least one canine friend) got outside to enjoy the warmer weather in the quad.

Wentworth Institute of Technology will host a special event on the topic of “Climate Change and the Building Sector: The Imperative to Eliminate Carbon Emissions” on Tuesday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m.  

A number of alumni and women currently enrolled in Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Construction Management program have been honored in recent days as part of Women in Construction Week. 

Over the course of two weeks, Wentworth Institute of Technology students collaborated across disciplines to transform purposeless or unwanted products and give them a new life.  

Wentworth students are privy to some of the deepest industry connections in higher education thanks to various leaders who have partnered with the university. And students are consistently working on real-world projects, providing solutions to a host of industry challenges.

In honor of Women's History Month, the Douglas D. Schumann Library & Learning Commons has created a collection of resources to celebrate female-identifying voices, creators, and experiences both internationally and right here at Wentworth.

This collection includes books, eBooks, films, podcasts, organizations for collaboration and participation, and resources for activism.

Jadon Watson, a sophomore studying Cybersecurity at Wentworth Institute of Technology, is the subject of a Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts feature story relating his plans to defend the United States against criminal computer system attacks.
