WIT Earns High Marks in U.S. News, College Factual Rankings
U.S. News & World Report and College Factual have released their respective 2022 rankings for best colleges with Wentworth Institute of Technology earning high honors in both publications.
U.S. News & World Report named Wentworth to four of its categories for “Best Colleges,” including moving the university up seven spots from last year in the Regional Universities category.
Leopards Move In 2021

Susan Duffy Named Associate Provost
Wentworth Institute of Technology has appointed Dr. Susan G. Duffy to the position of associate provost for Transformational Learning and Partnerships, effective September 20. She will also hold the title of associate professor in the School of Management.

Wentworth Institute of Technology has named Dr. Sedef Doganer its new dean of the School of Architecture and Design. She will also hold the title of Professor of Architecture.

All Commencement Ceremonies Moved to Saturday Due to Incoming Storm
Based on the forecast announced this morning that Tropical Storm Henri will likely become a Category 1 Hurricane with significant impacts on the Boston area throughout the day on Sunday, Wentworth Institute of Technology is moving all ceremonies originally scheduled for Sunday August 22nd, now to Saturday, August 21st.

A New Era for Industry
The hotel at the corner of Arlington and Newbury streets in Boston—overlooking the waterways and verdant landscape of the Public Garden—has a rich history. Opening in 1927 as the first Ritz-Carlton in the country, it has long presented an element of luxury to tourists venturing off the Freedom Trail and passersby clasping shopping bags collected from the chic boutiques freckling adjacent Newbury Street.
Wentworth’s New School of Management Dean: Abigail Charest
Abigail J. Charest, PhD, PE, is Wentworth Institute of Technology’s new Dean of the School of Management, bringing more than 20 years of interdisciplinary expertise to the position including experience in academia, contracting, consulting, project management, and horizontal construction.
