U.S. News & World Report and College Factual have released their respective 2022 rankings for best colleges with Wentworth Institute of Technology earning high honors in both publications. 

U.S. News & World Report named Wentworth to four of its categories for “Best Colleges,” including moving the university up seven spots from last year in the Regional Universities category. 

Wentworth Institute of Technology welcomed new Leopards this week and welcomed back familiar faces as classes began and students move back to campus. 

Wentworth Institute of Technology has appointed Dr. Susan G. Duffy to the position of associate provost for Transformational Learning and Partnerships, effective September 20. She will also hold the title of associate professor in the School of Management. 

Wentworth Institute of Technology has named Dr. Sedef Doganer its new dean of the School of Architecture and Design. She will also hold the title of Professor of Architecture. 

Wentworth Institute of Technology Architecture student Jacob Lehrer has earned the LEED AP BD+C credential, placing him among an elite group of leading professionals with expertise in green building and the LEED BD+C rating system.  

Summer Commencement returned to campus this week in a significant way.  

Over the course of two different days, Wentworth Institute of Technology hosted four in-person ceremonies with both Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 graduates crossing the stage. 

Wentworth Institute of Technology's School of Engineering presented its 2021 Engineering Design Showcase on Aug. 10 featuring junior and senior project teams from all engineering disciplines.

The events were held in person between Watson Auditorium and outside underneath the tent on the Quad.

Based on the forecast announced this morning that Tropical Storm Henri will likely become a Category 1 Hurricane with significant impacts on the Boston area throughout the day on Sunday, Wentworth Institute of Technology is moving all ceremonies originally scheduled for Sunday August 22nd, now to Saturday, August 21st.

Melanie A. DeSantis has been named Wentworth Institute of Technology’s new vice president for employee relations and engagement.  

Wentworth Institute of Technology’s RAMP program is underway with 39 students from Boston schools taking part this year.

Abigail J. Charest, PhD, PE, is Wentworth Institute of Technology’s new Dean of the School of Management, bringing more than 20 years of interdisciplinary expertise to the position including experience in academia, contracting, consulting, project management, and horizontal construction.
