The Applied Sciences program at Wentworth gives students a background in physics, chemistry, and biology alongside in-demand lab and coding skills. It's a springboard to laboratory research, industry, teaching, or graduate study, and there are not many programs like it. Since there are no graduate students in the School of Sciences and Humanities our labs and equipment are used by undergraduate students including the 50 Kelvin (-370 Fahrenheit) low temperature system, x-ray crystallography system, gas chromatograph mass spectrometer, and even the atomic force microscope.
