Carol Burns, Associate Professor, leads an active professional practice in Boston, Taylor & Burns Architects, which designs for mission-driven organizations. At Wentworth since 2009, Carol has served as a faculty member at other architecture schools including Harvard GSD, MIT, Yale, UVA, and Dalhousie University in Canada. Her teaching awards include the national AIA Education Honor Award. She has produced three books and written more than twenty articles. A Fellow of the AIA, Carol cofounded the AIA Women’s Leadership Summit. She established Wentworth’s SummerFAB program for high school students. Carol has an MArch from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Yale College.
