Yellow Ribbon Program
Wentworth is proud to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program. This program is for veterans entitled at the 100% benefit level under the Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33). Eligible veterans whose tuition charges exceed the annual maximum allowed by the VA can receive up to $5,000 in Yellow Ribbon funds from Wentworth, and the VA, to be deducted from the tuition charge. You may be eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program if you:
- Are eligible for the maximum 100% benefit rate under the Post-9/11 GI Bill®
- Are not on active duty
- Served an aggregate period of active duty after September 10, 2001 of at least 36 months
- Were honorably discharged from active duty for a service-connected disability and you served 30 continuous days after September 10, 2001
- Are a dependent eligible for Transfer of Entitlement under the Post-9/11 GI Bill® based on a veteran’s service under the eligibility criteria listed above (Spouses using transferred eligibility are not eligible for Yellow Ribbon)
