Wentworth community member would like to record a class or class presentation, event, etc. to save for further current/future use or for documentation purposes.
To schedule Media Recording Services or to request equipment loans, please fill out the Media Event Request Form. All requests should be made at least 48hrs in advance to ensure that the DTS team has sufficient notice to plan for the event. Note: All requests are subject to approval pending available staffing and resources.
Classes, Presentations, Events
Users are responsible for recording individual classes, class presentations, events, etc. DTS will provide training on recording equipment prior to event should the user request this.
DTS will record special events and/or campus-wide events, to be determined by Media Services.
A DVD copy will be made for the user after the recording. DTS will only provide one DVD copy for each recording. Users are responsible for copying the DVD should they require additional copies. The DVD copy will take 2-3 business days to produce and will be available at the DTS Help Desk for pickup after that time. Note that it may take longer to produce the DVD during peak times of the year and/or if there is a queue of recordings.The user will be notified once the DVD is ready for pickup.

DTS will splice the event into one section and add a title slide to each recording. DTS is unable to provide advanced video editing and/or quality improvement of recordings.
Many of the items borrowed can be operated by the user. Upon request, DTS will reserve the specified equipment for the user requesting the loan, pending available resources. Equipment will be available for pickup at the DTS Help Desk. DTS will provide training on equipment prior to event should the user request this. Some types of equipment will require setup and operation by a DTS Media Services Technician.
