Off-Campus Software Access

The Wentworth-provided, licensed software, listed below requires you to either borrow a license or be connected to our network in order to use them. To accomplish this remotely, you will need to use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection and a computer issued through our Laptop Program.

Our VPN uses "split-tunnel" meaning only the traffic to Wentworth resources is sent to campus. Everything else you do is sent directly through your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Software that requires VPN to use off campus:

  • Aimsun - Remain connected to VPN during use.
  • Autodesk AutoCAD – Borrow License via VPN, then available offline.
  • Autodesk Civil 3D – Borrow License via VPN, then available offline.
  • Autodesk Navisworks – Borrow License via VPN, then available offline.
  • Autodesk Revit – Borrow License via VPN, then available offline.
