Connecting to eduroam on a mobile device

Connecting your smartphone or tablet to eduroam allows you to seamlessly access wireless across all Colleges of the Fenway campuses and other participating academic institutions. It may also allow you to save on your data plan usage and make wifi calls in areas where cellular reception is poor, depending upon carrier support.


Connecting on Android devices

  1. Select the eduroam wireless network from your device's settings menu.
  2. You will be prompted for your Wentworth credentials. Enter your full Wentworth email address (including "@wit.edu") at the prompt for "Identity" or "Username" and your password to connect. Leave “Remember this network” checked to automatically connect to eduroam when visiting a Colleges of the Fenway or other participating campuses.
  3. Depending upon your device manufacturer, you may need to select some or all of the settings shown below
  • EAP Method: PEAP
  • Phase 2 Authentication: MS-CHAPv2
  • CA Certificate: Use system certificates
  • Domain: wit.edu

 

 
Connecting on iOS devices

  1. Select the eduroam wireless network from your device's settings menu.
  2. You will be prompted for your Wentworth credentials. Enter your full Wentworth email address (including "@wit.edu") at the prompt for "Identity" or "Username" and your password to connect. Leave “Remember this network” checked to automatically connect to eduroam when visiting a Colleges of the Fenway or other participating campuses.
  3. If prompted, choose to trust the eduroam.wit.edu certificate.
