FESP International Award for Construction Collaboration
The Spring of 2018 was the first time Construction Management sent a cohort of students to study abroad at Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland - the Irish WIT. While abroad Wentworth students teamed up with Waterford students to enter the CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building's) Global Student Challenge. The winning team members included three of our own Wentworth students: Samantha Webb, David Maler and Anthony Malchiodi. To read more of this amazing accomplishment please visit the Waterford website.
Visitors from the Netherlands
On March 30, Wentworth welcomed 34 students and faculty from our partnership school, Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, located in Zwolle. The Windesheim students gave a wonderful presentation about their school and an overview of what their projects look like. Similar to Wentworth's co-ops, Windesheim students have a semester experience working at a company and having their own clients. One example of these projects is a team of students developed an escape room for the local police department's training program. Wentworth looks forward to developing this partnership and the collaboration to come between the two schools.
