A student should schedule an intake appointment with Counseling and Disability Services to discuss issues of concern. After the intake appointment, the counselor and student work together to set up future sessions for ongoing treatment or to determine if an off-campus referral is appropriate.
Appointments are necessary to see a counselor for all non-emergency/non-crisis situations. For emergency and crisis situations, see Emergencies below.
How to Schedule an Appointment
Please call (617) 989-4390 or stop by our office in Watson Hall 003 between 8:15am and 4:45pm every weekday. Students should have their class schedules available so they may determine an appointment time that works with their schedule.
Intake appointments with Counseling and Disability Services staff are scheduled for 90 minutes to ensure adequate time for the student to fill out paperwork.
All other appointments, unless otherwise specified, are 50 minutes.
