Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM)

Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)

The primary purpose of SAE Baja is to apply learned engineering skills to develop, construct, and race an off-road Baja vehicle through the Society of Automotive Engineers.  The focus will be using a combination of hands-on fabrication, manufacturing, electrical knowledge and CAD to optimize the off-road vehicle for the annual international competition. Participation in this club is hands-on and competitive, as well as enjoyable and exhilarating.  From utilizing SOLIDWORKS to actually machining components, this club will help students develop real-life skills that can be applied every day.
