The Info Hub Attendant maintains desk operations throughout the week. This includes: customer assistance, selling tickets, answering telephone and email inquiries, photocopying/faxing/printing, distributing T-passes, lockers, and other departmental arrangements, keeping the work area clean, and other duties as assigned.

 

Summer semester job only.  Student will help to develop laboratory exercises related to Internet of Things.  The work will involve learning, developing and documenting software languages, web communication, and microcontroller hardware systems.  Some exercises will be based on available tutorials and documentation, and others will involve development based on less detailed information. 

We are looking for one or two office assistants to help with office tasks, marketing, photography, and support for summer events sponsored by the College of Engineering and Technology, particularly the Senior Design Showcase in August.

We are looking for support with student outreach, marketing, and event support around the study abroad initiative. As the interest to study abroad grows, so does the support needed.

Position Summary:

Summary:  Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Director.  Ensures the accurate execution of all events during his/her shift.  May drive a catering delivery truck.

Work with Diversity Programs staff to produce diversity related programs and events throughout the academic year. Possible programs includes Diversity Week, the Women’s Leadership Series, and the Beloved Community Social Justice Retreat; as well as movies screenings, performances, speakers and informational displays.

Assist the Office of Student Affairs and Office of Community Standards in producing/editing publications and logos. Edit, design, and create colorful works with the possibility of assisting with updates to the office web site. Experience in the Adobe Suite is required. Knowledge of MAC operating systems is preferred, but not required.

Assists the Advancement Operations staff with maintaining the integrity of the Institutional Advancement database. Research and update addresses, phone numbers, and business information of alumni, parents, and friends. Data entry using Millennium software. Accuracy and attention to detail are key.

  • Assists the Weekends at WIT committee in the promotion, execution, setup, and breakdown of all activities and events sponsored by the Weekends at WIT committee.   

  • Management of social media pages (Twitter & Facebook) 

  • Work events and take photos of events for social media 

  • Convey enthusiasm for Weekends at WIT to promote upcoming events 

  • Work advertisement tables during the week  

  • Attend Street Team Meetings one hour a week  

  1. Punctuality and communication means being 5 minutes early to begin your shift so you can set up the advertising table or assist with the setup of an event. This job requires to you actively check your Wentworth Email throughout the day and to be consistently

Work Schedule: 5-10 hours per week as required (may include opening, closing, and/or weekend hours)
This position provides circulation services to members of the Wentworth community during Library hours.

Responsibilities

The Interior Design Materials Resource Librarian is responsible for organizing, cataloging and maintaining the Materials Resource Library in the Interior Design studio.
