Construction Management Students Inducted into International Honor Society

The School of Management would like to recognize the 18 students who were inducted into Sigma Lambda Chi International Construction Honor Society.

The fundamental purpose of Sigma Lambda Chi is to provide recognition to outstanding students in construction curricula. Sigma Lambda Chi offers students the opportunity to be recognized locally and internationally for their academic accomplishments as a construction major.

CM Club Earns First Place in Associated Schools of Construction Annual Competition

Members of the Construction Management Club at Wentworth Institute of Technology earned something we can all be thankful for this holiday season: A first place showing at the Associated Schools of Construction’s annual ASC Region 1 Student Competition.

Wentworth Women Meet Industry Professionals at Construction Management Speed Networking Event

On Wednesday, January 22, the Wentworth Construction Management Club (CM Club) held a networking event geared towards women who are currently pursuing a degree related to the built environment and/or Construction Management. The event was organized in part by Shawmut Design and Construction alongside the WIT CM Club student board.

The event invited women professionals onto campus to engage with current students and provide insight into the available career paths for CM professionals and day-to-day activities of various positions.

Construction Management Students Present Findings on City Hall, Elementary School, and Health Science Building Projects

Senior Construction Management students finished their final projects with a presentation to industry experts.

Students split their time between a multitude of real-world projects this semester. A sampling included:
