David Dodge, Project Management
David Dodge came to Wentworth as part of the second cohort of scholars from Middlesex Community College. He would go on to make the dean’s list in each of his eight semesters at Wentworth. Dodge is working as a project manager at JW Construction in Burlington, Mass.
What is your favorite thing about your Wentworth experience?
My favorite thing was just identifying myself a Wentworth student. I am proud of my studies in this institution and have met some really great people throughout my journey.
While maintaining two jobs, helping raise three children and a grandchild, Maria Furtado took on added responsibility and earned a Bachelor of Science in Project Management. Furtado credits well-planned time management, prioritization of activities, and a focus on her goal for her success.
Throughout the program, Furtado made certain sacrifices in her personal and professional life in order to reach her goals of getting her degree and having a better future. Through all of the hard work, she successfully completed her degree on time and with an exceptional grade point average.
The Undergraduate Certificate in Project Management provides professionals with the skills they need to assume project management and related job positions in the private, non-profit, and government sectors. Through this certificate, students will be exposed to concepts such as strategic leadership methods, project planning and control techniques, team management skills, and risk control.
