Presidential Search - Lead Our Innovative Community

Wentworth Institute of Technology seeks to hire its fifth President during a very exciting time in the institution’s history.

In 2017 Wentworth earned university status in Massachusetts after expanding academic offerings and campus facilities and successfully launching graduate programs in applied computer science, architecture, civil engineering, construction management, facility management, and technology management. These new graduate offerings are at a pivotal point in their maturation and are poised to blossom under the right conditions and leadership.

The Institute’s undergraduate enrollment continues to grow at a healthy pace as students pursue Wentworth’s hands-on learning and the advantages that a STEM, business, and design education offer. Wentworth’s learning approach combined with two mandatory cooperative employment positions for students (“co-ops”) fosters extraordinary career success for its graduates. Wentworth is now a nearly full residential campus thanks to the addition of new residential buildings in recent years.

Striving to meet the students where they are in their lives, Wentworth’s College of Professional and Continuing Education provides part-time educational opportunities, including certificates and associates, bachelors, and graduate degrees.

Wentworth’s 21 years of operating surplus provide it with an ample opportunity to grow in influence and impact under the right leadership.
