Shipping & Receiving will accept deliveries to the Campus between the hours of 7:30 am - 1:00 pm. Any shipments arriving after this time may be refused, at the discretion of the department.

*NOTE: Deliveries of large orders or equipment must be schedule through Shipping & Receiving at least two business days in advance, or you run the risk of refusal of acceptance of the shipment.

Campus Deliveries

Delivery of packages to departments and student mailrooms are handled between 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm. Packages are scanned upon arrival at either Shipping & Receiving, or at the mailroom desks, which will then generate an email notification to the recipient that the package is enroute to their pickup location.

*NOTE: Students - It is essential to have your mailstop number included on all packages to insure prompt final delivery.

Paper Deliveries

Copy paper is stored in bulk in the Shipping & Receiving area. When requesting delivery of copy paper, please notify Shipping & Receiving two days in advance at (617) 989-4561.

Shipping Services

Package shipping of Institute-related items can be accommodated through Shipping & Receiving only if the package has the appropriate shipping label attached.


All items that are being returned to a vendor must be accompanied by a Vendor Return Form, issued by the Purchasing Department at (617) 989-4251.
