Wentworth Hosts Polytechnic Summit 2013 – “Bridging Boundaries”
June 5, 2013
Polytechnic Summit 2013
June 5-7, 2013.
Wentworth Institute of Technology
550 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA
The fifth annual summit will bring together academic leaders and faculty members from approximately 20 colleges and organizations to address the theme of “Bridging Boundaries” and explore how polytechnics are reaching across disciplines, economic sectors, town-gown lines, and international borders to strengthen the quality of education they offer and break through the traditional “silos” created by individual disciplines. As the workforce increasingly demands individuals with interdisciplinary knowledge and experience, polytechnics must address this industry need.
Former Governor Michael Dukakis will deliver the keynote address on Wednesday, June 5, at 11:30 a.m.
