Wentworth Hires New Chief Information Officer

Wentworth Institute of Technology has announced that Vish Paradkar will serve as the university’s new vice president for technology services and chief information officer. Paradkar begins his new position on April 2.
“Vish brings to Wentworth a wealth of experience and knowledge from higher education as well as the corporate environment,” said Wentworth President Zorica Pantić.
Since 2010, Paradkar has been the assistant vice president of IT services at Colorado College. From 2007 to 2010, he worked for Verizon Services as an IT manager, and from 2001 to 2007 he worked as a consultant, supporting financial applications for Verizon.
Paradkar earned his MBA from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from the University of Mumbai. He is a certified project management professional and certified ScrumMaster.
“I am very excited to join the technology services team, and look forward to collaborating with students, faculty, and staff,” said Paradkar. “Together we will continue to find new avenues to deliver high-quality support services and innovative technological solutions that will enable Wentworth to further excel in delivering its mission."
