Peter Davoren Visits Wentworth Ahead of Commencement

Peter J. Davoren, '76, president and chief executive officer of Turner Construction Company, visited the Wentworth campus on July 21 to meet with President Zorica Pantić and tour some of his alma mater’s new facilities.
Davoren's visit takes place ahead of Wentworth's Summer Commencement ceremony, in which he will serve as guest speaker on August 16.
College of Engineering and Technology Dean Fred Driscoll and several faculty members led Davoren on a tour this week of High-Tech Highway—Wentworth’s cutting-edge lab spaces—as well as student spaces within the Construction Management, Civil Engineering, and Industrial Design programs. Joining Davoren and Driscoll on the tour were Wentworth students, as well as Paula Sakey, VP of Institutional Advancement; Scott Sumner, Construction Management department chair; John Duggan, Civil Engineering and Technology department chair; and Sam Montague, Industrial Design department chair.
