College Entrepreneurship at its Best at Wentworth Accelerate

On Wednesday, October 21st, 24 interdisciplinary teams from Wentworth Accelerate Innovation + Entrepreneurship Center gathered to showcase their innovative solutions to a variety of different problems. These big ideas on display at Accelerate’s Hot Seatevent came from students in seemingly unlikely pairs, but while they differed in majors they were similar in their passion for their projects. September 5, 2019—Beginning in the fall 2020, high school students will have the choice to submit or not submit SAT or ACT scores when applying to the university.
August 18, 2019—“You are equipped with everything you need to understand and help solve the complex problems of the day and of the future,” Thompson said. “Be intentional about it. Be purposeful about it. Give the world the benefit of your full creative capabilities. It is a world that greatly needs you!”
August 14, 2019—Edie Waldsmith has been a full-time staff member while also taking classes and getting involved in as much as she could on campus. “There’s a pride I feel every day being a part of the Wentworth community," she says. "It’s easy to give back when you feel a strong connection.”
