Wentworth Opening Week (WOW)

Wentworth Opening Week (WOW) is our official welcome program for all first year and transfer students at Wentworth. Whether you are living on campus or commuting from home, every new student at Wentworth participates in this four day introduction to college life during the first days of September. WOW is the perfect follow up to June’s New Student Orientation because it is an institute-wide initiative that brings all students, staff, and faculty together to help welcome new students and transition them to life at Wentworth. No registration is required for Opening Week.

For any families who may be traveling from out of town and seeking a place to stay for the day before and/or after move-in, we have arranged a discounted rate with The Inn at Longwood, which can be booked using the discount code WITFO819.

WOW Schedule: Please note that all students (except those participating in a program bringing them to campus earlier) will arrive on campus on Thursday, September 3 and go to the West Lot for check-in. Residential students will receive a specific move-in time from our Office of Housing and Residential Life.

A detailed schedule will become available in August. You will receive an individualized schedule when you check in. Programs prior to dinner are required for all students on all days except Monday, September 7. Programs in the evening and on Monday are encouraged but not required.
