Frequently Asked Questions about Family & Alumni Weekend
I have a student and an alumnus in my party, which registration should I use? If your party contains a current Wentworth student, complete the Family Registration. If your party contains a Wentworth alumnus, complete the Alumni Registration from. If you party contains both a current student and an alumnus, congratulations! Your party is amazing! Please complete both registrations.
Will parking be available? Will handicapped parking be available? Parking will be available throughout the weekend in the West Lot (on the corner of Ruggles St. and Huntington Ave.) and in the Parker Street Lot (on the corner of Parker Street and Annunciation Road). Handicapped parking is available in the West Lot. Overnight parking is not permitted.
What events are appropriate for children or younger siblings? All of our on-campus events are appropriate for family members of all ages, even Casino Night!
Do Duck Tours really pick us up at Wentworth? What if it rains, will Duck Tours be canceled? Yes, the Duck Boats will be waiting for you in the West Lot on Sunday morning. The Duck boats are made the travel in all kinds of weather so be sure to check the weather forecast just in case.
Do I need money for Casino Night? No, there is no fee associated with Casino Night. Each participant will get a bag of chips that can be redeemed for raffle tickets at the end of the night.
A member of my party has food allergies, will he/she be able to eat on campus? Contact the Family Weekend coordinator at Family Weekend who will be happy to go over the planned meals for Family & Alumni Weekend so that you can make the best decision for your party.
How can I purchase tickets to the Museum of Science/Museum of Fine Arts/local movie theaters? Tickets to the Museum of Science will be available for $5 throughout Family & Alumni Weekend by visiting the Flanagan Center Info Hub (ground floor). We may also have a small amount of tickets available to the Omni Theater and Planetarium at the Museum of Science; these tickets are also $5. Remember, Wentworth students always get in free at the Isabella Stewart Garner Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts.
