Manuel Delgado, Professor, is Principal of the international team that won the 2012 La Carlota (Caracas) Redevelopment Competition for one of the largest urban parcels in Latin America. Manuel is a frequent juror for international competitions. He has an international practice based on earlier work in Caracas Venezuela and, for the last thirteen years, in Boston. Manuel is the co-organizer of the 2009 and 2013 Designing For Life International Symposiums. He has an MS in Urban Studies and Planning from MIT with special focus in Urban Design, a Master of Building Restoration from Churubusco Institute, Mexico, and BArch from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Caracas.
