ELEC4225 - Introduction to Digital Signal Processing

This course introduces sampling, aliasing, ADCs and z-transforms. DSP applications including digital filtering (both FIR and IIR) are analyzed and designed. Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is studied in order to compute the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). Laboratory experiments emphasize hardware and software solutions to practical problems. Prerequisites: ELEC3775, Discrete Signals and Systems
