ELEC4000 - Digital Signal Processing

This course presents the basic digital signal processing (DSP) principles used in the design and analysis of sampled signals. Topics include but are not limited to design of finite impulse response (FIR) filters and infinite impulse response (IIR) filters. The Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is studied in order to compute the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). Laboratory experiments emphasize hardware and software solutions to practical problems. Prerequisites: ELEC3775, Discrete Signals and Systems
