Financial Aid - The College of Professional and Continuing Education

Wentworth Mechanical ConstructionWentworth realizes that for many people seeking an education, financial aid is essential. In fact, nearly half of our students receive financial aid, while others receive some tuition reimbursement from their employers. To be considered for financial aid you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as early as possible (allow 6 weeks for processing). However, you must be accepted to Wentworth to receive notification of your actual financial aid award.

Applicants should complete the FAFSA at the Federal Student Aid website and obtain a PIN number. Wentworth’s Federal School Code is 002225. Watch this video for instructions on how-to complete the FAFSA.

Important Information After You File

Check the status of your FAFSA:

  • online, 1 week after submission if you used a PIN to sign your FAFSA
  • online, 2-3 weeks after submission if you printed and mailed a signature page

The Student Aid Report (SAR) that you view online or receive in the mail contains all of the information reported on your FAFSA. By including the Wentworth school code (002225), this information is automatically sent to us. Review your SAR carefully and make any necessary corrections or updates ASAP. Errors or missing information will delay your aid package.

If you do not receive the SAR within the above mentioned time frame, please access the FAFSA website and select "Check My Submitted FAFSA." You may also call the FAFSA Processor at 1-800-433-3243 for assistance.
