Program Description

AutoCAD is a software application for computer-aided design and drafting. Wentworth’s AutoCAD course will enable you to learn from experienced professionals and gain the experience and credentials you need to become more competitive in the job market. The course meets once a week for 12 weeks. Upon completion, you will earn 4.8 CEUs

  • Program Objectives

    With hands-on instruction using AutoCAD, you will learn to:

    • Understand graphical concepts and projective geometry relating to spatial visualization and communication in design.
    • Communicate information graphically through the use of AutoCAD.
    • Master AutoCAD version 2015, including basic and advanced 2D drawing techniques, 3D drawing and rendering.
    • Develop a set of drawings for a small architectural project and get introduced to Revit 3D object-oriented software.
  • Admissions Requirements & Tuition

    Applicants must have basic proficiency in using a computer and a basic understanding of Microsoft software and submit the following:

    Tuition:

    • $1200 per course
