Tobin Backyard Project

During the 2012 summer semester, two Wentworth design students worked collaboratively on providing design services for the Tobin Community Center in a neighborhood in Boston, Mission Hill. The focus of the project was to create a space that not only could provide revenue for the non-profit Center but also enliven the backyard for use by the whole community.  The students were mentored throughout the semester by Erik Miller, Adjunct Professor at Wentworth and Project Manager at ICON architecture, inc.  The project was also a collaboration with Community Design Resource Center of Boston (CDRC).  The following students participated in the project:

  • Austin Ludwig, M.Arch '12
  • Michele Quinn, M.Arch '12
