The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) Exploration Curriculum will help you enter the field of information and communication technology by building a foundation in networking topics from fundamentals to advanced applications and services, as well as hands-on practical experience and soft-skill development. Construction Supervisor License Preparation Courses
Become a licensed Construction Supervisor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Wentworth's Construction Supervisor's License (CSL) Preparation will prepare you to take the state licensure exam for commercial and residential buildings. This license allows you to supervise construction for any single- or two-family dwelling or appurtenant structure, regardless of size, as well as any other building type up to 35,000 cubic feet of enclosed space. Become a licensed Journeyman Electrician in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in just one year. Wentworth’s Journeyman Electrician License program will introduce you to a range of theoretical and applied concepts, as will go in-depth into the Massachusetts Electrical Code. Four, 15-week courses meet two evenings per week. 150 classroom hours and 15 CEUs per course.

Learn the very latest practices in welding, gas metal arc welding, and advanced arc welding from experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Students who complete the initial 1-year program can further their training in the codes and standards contained in the Structural Welding Code-Steel Book, and in Metal Fabrication Arc Welding. Plus, students have the opportunity to complete their OSHA-30 training in OSHA-approved safety methods and best practices. 15-weeks/semester 90 hours of welding/week.

Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Our active, hands-on learning will give you the skills you need to collaborate on the planning, design and construction of a building using 3D modeling. Master the principles of parametric modeling, flexing parameters, design visualization and other topics. And build competencies in Revit Architecture, the premier software application for building information modeling. Choose Revit MEP, for mechanical, electrical and plumbing modeling, or Revit Structure with an emphasis on structural design and analysis.
Build essential skills in plan reading, estimating, wood framing and masonry and advance your career in Construction. Our hands-on learning will help you understand the symbols, dimensions and structural details of plan reading. Learn how to prepare a detailed cost estimate by pricing labor and equipment and assessing overhead. Master the fundamentals of masonry and wood framing in our onsite workshop. Plus, add on a 30-hour elective OSHA course to understand how to ensure workforce safety. 7 weeks. 3.5 CEUs.
Introduction to Building Fire Safety is a 7-week program that lays the foundation for a career in fire protection for the built environment. Drawing on criteria outlined in the International Building Codes, the course teaches the basics of fire dynamics, as well as egress and life safety. Improve your knowledge and understanding of building codes, design standards, fire characteristics, and fire dynamics as well as current fire protection applications. Students who complete Introduction to Building Fire Safety will receive 3 CEUs and may be able to enroll in additional courses toward a Certificate in Fire Protection Technology from Wentworth.
Professional Land Surveying
Become a registered, Professional Land Surveyor in Massachusetts. Combine your experience in the field with hands-on learning in field measurement, survey calculations, evidence gathering and assessment, boundary determination, and publication and presentation of final survey results. Learn how to use emerging technologies, including differential leveling, electronic distance measurement (EDM), electronic data collection, computer-aided design (CAD), the global positioning system (GPS) and geographical and land information systems (GIS/LIS). In addition to fundamental and advanced theories and techniques for surveying measurement, you’ll also learn about the legal aspects of land surveying, such as real estate law and professional regulations. 6 courses, 15 weeks each.
