Faculty and Staff Testimonials

We would love to hear about your project, course question or challenge, research or grant, and offer some ideas to facilitate your goals. We work with faculty and staff across the University and a consultation is the first step!

Jill Kearney on New Faculty Orientation

“Thank you all so very much for a great two days of workshops.  I enjoyed it so much and am walking away with so many new resources and so much inspiration!  It means the world to me to be able to work with such wonderful people at Wentworth and to be given the opportunity to improve and be inspired.  THANK YOU!“

John DiCicco on LMS Transition Support

” Whenever we are called upon to come out of our comfort zone it proposes new challenges and needed accommodations. Having said that, converting from the Blackboard to Brightspace OLS was both challenging and difficult.  From an instructor’s perspective keeping on top of your students’ pedagogical and technical requirements to successfully complete a course using the new OLS Brightspace took a lot of time and effort. Much of the burden lies on the educational design team to transition all of this as smoothly as possible without missing a beat while classes continue to run according to schedule. I have been working with wonderful, talented, and dedicated educational designers to get through the pandemic, learn the new OLS and, keep myself pedagogically sound throughout the process. I want to thank Dr. Tes Zakrzewski and her team, specifically, Julie Wong (whom I’ve been working with over the past several months) for all you help and continued support in the transition.”

Brian Quigley on Technology and Support for Faculty

“Working with the team has led to significant progress within our office and has allowed us to connect with students in new ways. Through use of Articulate, Blackboard, and Brightspace, the staff members helped us develop and implement student training modules, online orientation programs, and much more. They offer the technology and support to bring ideas to life and simplify what would otherwise be complicated and time-consuming projects.”

M. Ilyas Bhatti on Online Teaching Suport

“While I was a little bit hesitant to teach an online class but when I got to meet with the technical people, they are just superb, they are outstanding professionals and with extraordinary skills.”

Cynthia Williams on Course Development and Strategies

“Thank you for the help—I really appreciate the resources that you shared! Your input yesterday really helped me move forward in my thinking. I appreciate all the great ideas from yesterday’s Zoom call and I will definitely check back in as I craft the syllabus, learning outcomes, assignments, lesson plans, etc. It’s wonderful to feel so supported in the course design process.”

Michael Mozill on Teaching and Technical Support

“During my over five years at Wentworth, the amazing people at LIT/TLC have always been there to help me.  Most importantly, they make me feel that my success and my students’ achievements are important to them.

They’ve sent, on my request, a staff member to observe me teaching a class and made very useful recommendations to improve my teaching and make things easier for me and my students.  They’ve helped me record BSM Capstone Presentations and edited the videos for later use.

They are friendly kind, patient, and empathetic.  They’ve worked with me during the day, after hours, and on weekends. When I need help, they respond quickly and efficiently.  I can’t imagine a better group of people.”

Associate Professor of Business Management

Michael Holt on Teaching Strategies

“They are so helpful in helping me to set up my courses to providing me with course readiness checklist and also coming in, in separate sessions in person to be able to make sure that the class is effective and it’s attractive looking as it can be to try to make the job easier for my students.”
