Work Study

Work-study positions are hired on an ad-hoc basis. These positions typically consist of 8-10 hours per week on specific projects such as:

  • Sustainability data collection and analysis (energy, water, waste, etc.)
  • Research & feasibility studies for new technologies or initiatives (on-campus renewable energy, power-saving settings on IT equipment)
  • Peer-to-peer outreach and education on sustainability (green tips, event support, marketing materials)

If you are a work-study eligible student, please submit a cover letter describing your areas of interest, along with a resume to sustainability@wit.edu.

Campus Sustainability Co-ops

The Sustainability Committee will be hiring one Sustainability Co-op for the Spring 2014 semester. More job information will be posted here when available.

MassCEC Clean Energy Internships

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center is offering 10-week paid internships for undergraduate and graduate students interested in the fields of clean technology, energy efficiency, and renewable energy.  Jobs are hosted by clean tech firms located throughout the state.

As stated by MassCEC,  "The objectives of Massachusetts Clean Energy Internship Program are to:

  • Provide the clean energy community with a talented pool of  young professionals 
  • Enable  students to gain significant career opportunities in a challenging economic environment 
  • Enable clean energy companies to mentor students and provide internship opportunities across a broader spectrum of student background
  • Support the need for greater diversity in our clean energy workforce 
  • Provide a peer network of  students interested in working in clean energy"
