Student Employment and Work Study

Desk Attendant Program

Desk Attendants are employees of the OHRL, and are considered Leopard Work students.  Students that do not qualify for Federal work study are still eligible for Student Employment.  Desk Attendants are allowed to work up to four shifts per week, a total of sixteen hours. They are stationed every night at the main entrance of each residential area between 7pm and 11pm.  Students can seek employment through Greg Mantolesky located in the OHRL, or by email at mantoleskyg@wit.edu.  Positions are filled during the first week of every semester.

OHRL Work Study

The OHRL employs close to 150 students for Federal Work Study.  Students must be pre-approved for work study as part of their Financial Aid package before applying for jobs.  Work study positions are open to both on and off-campus students, and are available in each Residence Hall, as well as within the OHRL.  Please check with your RD for opportunities in your building, or visit the OHRL to inquire about any openings within the office.

Work Study positions include:

  • Game Room Attendant
  • Gym Attendant
  • RD Office Assistants
  • Front Desk at OHRL

To check eligibility, log into your personal Lconnect account and click on Leopard Web.  Then, select Award under the Financial Aid tab for an overview.
