Formal Reception for Artsbridge

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences proudly invites the Wentworth Community to an evening of important art and dialogue. “Young Voices New Choices” is an exhibition of multimedia art designed and created by an extraordinary group of Israeli, Palestinian, and American high school students who are part of Artsbridge, Inc., an Intercultural Youth Leadership Development Program that is hosted each year by a different college in the New England area. These students live, work and come together to make art and discourse in an extended conversation toward reconciliation.

The community is invited to attend Monday, March 17 at 5:00 p.m. for a formal opening, followed by a 6:00 p.m. presentation in Blount Auditorium by Deb Nathan, the Founder and Executive Director of Artsbridge Inc.

Ms. Nathan has worked with more than a thousand students, trained more than one hundred and twenty educators, including social workers and group facilitators.  Under her guidance, Artsbridge has expanded its outreach to schools and communities to facilitate the development of their own leadership programs. This program stands out as a paradigm for the creative empowerment of people to speak art when language has failed.

The entire WIT community is welcome to attend. For questions, please contact Professor Elaine Slater at
