The ASM Materials Camp for Teachers is run by the Materials Education Foundation and is their first teachers’ camp in New England.

High school and middle school teachers learn how to engage their students using simple, low-cost experiments that they can integrate into their existing lesson plans. The labs and activities are proven to excite students in science and engineering.

Twenty-four local teachers will attend this professional development camp, which represents one of 44 camps for teachers offered this year by the ASM Materials Education Foundation.

The Teachers Camp is sponsored by ASM Boston and Rhode Island Chapters, H.C. Starck Inc., and Instron Corporation.
