COLLEGE THINK TANK BOSTON

Wentworth student Zelong Le presents at COLLEGE THINK TANK

COLLEGE THINK TANK BOSTON brought together approximately 100 local college and university students from 19 different institutions and various academic disciplines, design thinkers, city representatives, and community partners to brainstorm ideas and explore creative solutions to real challenges in Boston’s neighborhoods on June 15. Teams of students focused on the immediate challenge of dealing with the vacancy of commercial space in communities and neighborhoods throughout the city.

The event, which was co-founded by the City of Boston and Wentworth's Innovation + Entrepreneurship Center, Accelerate, was a tremendous success. It was kicked off by Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and Wentworth President Zorica Pantić.

.DAT, an online magazine that was funded this past spring semester as part of Wentworth’s student innovation and entrepreneurship challenge, Accelerate, reported on COLLEGE THINK TANK.
