Distinguished Faculty Lecture Series - The American Dream: What is it? Does it still exist?
October 16, 2012 @ 3:30 p.m.
Beatty Hall, Room 426
The sixth annual Distinguished Faculty Lecture Series will examine whether or not the “American Dream” still exists. Two faculty members, Raffaele Di Cecca and Joseph A. Schellings, will address students, faculty, staff, and other members of the Wentworth community.
According to the faculty experts, one of the most common goals in the fulfillment of the American Dream is the purchase of a home – a difficult prospect for many people considering the current housing market and tenuous economy. Leveraging their expertise, the lecture investigates mortgages and ways to maximize the outcome of this type of investment.
