An interview with artist Elaine Spatz-Rabinowitz

Wentworth Institute of Technology held Elaine Spatz-Rabinowitz's exhibit, Before Occupy: Paintings by Elaine Spatz-Rabinowitz 2001-2006, from March 19 through March 31, 2012, in the Casella Gallery.

In this exhibit, her paintings portray a juxtaposition of the poor against the wealthy in the United States. She used scenes such as upscale mansions and surrounding plush foliage contrasted against graffiti markings often considered the blight of poverty-stricken neighborhoods.

Listen to her explain her work and recent exhibit at Wentworth.
