Wentworth Offers Free, One-day STEM Workshops for High School Students
What: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Discovery Workshop
When: April 2, April 9, and May 7; 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Where: Wentworth Institute of Technology, 550 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02115
Information: Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Discovery Workshop is a one-day workshop designed to inspire high school students’ interest in STEM fields.
In an effort to provide students with knowledge for making more informed academic and career decisions, they will be introduced to a sampling of STEM disciplines and to the professional opportunities that can be pursued in these interesting and important fields. The STEM Discovery Workshop will introduce students to the following disciplines:
- Applied Mathematics
- Bioinformatics and Science
- Biomedical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
