Respondus at WIT
Respondus is a software program that allows faculty and staff to create Blackboard Quizzes and Surveys offline, to be uploaded to Blackboard at a later time.
The license for Respondus is renewed in July, so if you have previously used Respondus, you will need to re-install the software and update your license key before the start of each new academic year.
Note: Respondus only works on the Microsoft Windows operating system. Full system requirements are available at the Respondus website. If you are using a Mac, you may use Respondus through Boot Camp, which simulates the Windows environment.
Our Respondus license runs for one year and expires on July 31. If you are running the version from 2013-2014 you will need to download and install the new version.

Respondus Installation Information (for 2014-2015)
Respondus is now available for faculty from LConnect under the My LConnect Tab-> Online Software Distribution. The software download will also place a license.txt file on your desktop. This file contains the license key and information you need to enter to register your copy of Respondus.
Starting in Summer 2014, the Wentworth Blackboard site is no longer affiliated with University of Massachusetts Online (UMOL) so you will need to follow the directions in the configuration documentation to link your copy of Respondus to the new Blackboard server.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are a distance learning faculty member and need to obtain the software from off-campus, have any questions or would like to see Responuds in action.
