Provost Designates Graduate Faculty

Provost Russ Pinizzotto has designated 41 Wentworth full-time and adjunct faculty as Graduate Faculty.  All teach in the master’s programs in Construction Management or Facility Management.  The list of Graduate Faculty may be found here.

Under new guidelines developed by the Graduate Programs Committee and approved by Provost Pinizzotto, faculty teaching graduate courses in Fall, 2012, and beyond need to be designated as “Graduate Faculty.”   Department chairs nominate faculty for Graduate Faculty designation based on their academic credentials, professional experience, and other evidence of appropriate expertise.  (Full criteria for Graduate Faculty designation are available here.)  Nominations are reviewed by the Graduate Programs Committee, and Graduate Faculty status is designated by the Provost for a period of one to five years.  (The nomination form can be viewed and downloaded here; the policy and procedure are posted here.)

Associate Provost Chuck Hotchkiss works with department chairs and program directors to implement the policy.  Please address questions or concerns to Chuck at X4831 or hotchkissc@wit.edu.
