Below is the schedule for Family & Alumni Weekend.  The schedule may be updated as we get closer to the event so don't forget to pick up an updated schedule at the Flanagan Info Hub when you arrive on campus.  Schedule updates will also be added to the Recent Updates page.  to print the most up to date version click the print icon below.

Friday October 18

1pm-7pm, Check-In, Flanagan Campus Center Info Hub, Stop in for an updated schedule of events and information.

1pm-7pm Hospitality Suite, Flanagan Campus Center Pavilion, Read the newspaper, have a cup of coffee, get ready for a great weekend!

7pm-10pm Casino Night, Watson Auditorium, A free night of Casino games, no money required! We have blackjack, poker, roulette and even bingo! Turn in your chips for raffle tickets and try to win great prizes! You could even win the biggest prize of all: a Family Weekend Four pack.  A prize package that includes four free tickets to any event during Family & Alumni Weekend 2014. (Prizes drawn at 9:45, you must be present to win, one prize per party).

Saturday October 19

9am-8pm, Check-In, Flanagan Campus Center Info HubStop by for an updated schedule of events.

9am-8pm, Hospitality Suite, Flanagan Campus Center Pavilion, Stop by the hospitality suite for a place to sit, snack and relax throughout the day.  Come by between 9am and 11am for coffee, bagels, yogurt, fruit and pastries!

9am-11:30am, Children’s Tent on Sweeney Field,  A fun place for kids to come during the morning soccer games. Children’s activities, and snacks will be available

9am-10am, Women’s Alumni Soccer Game, Sweeney Field, Cheer on WIT alumni as they return to Sweeney Field!

9:30am, Women’s Alumni Volleyball Game, Sweeney Field, Come see if the alums can still spike and serve like our current Leopards.

10am-10:30am, Future WIT Stars Soccer Game, Sweeney Field, Children of alumni, and little siblings of current students are invited to take the field in a fun-filled game featuring Wentworth’s future athletes.

10:30-11:30am, Men’s Alumni Soccer Game, Sweeney Field, Can Leopards change their spots?  See if our alumni still have what it takes out on the field. 

11:00am-12:00pm, Men's and Women's Alumni Tennis Games, Tennis Courts, All tennis alums are invited to play and guests are invited to watch.  We’d “love” to see you there!  

11:00am & 12:00pm, Tours of the Manufacturing Center, Williston 001, Tour Wentworth’s new manufacturing center with Professor Peter Rourke of the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering and Technology.  The manufacturing center is at the forefront of innovation, rivaling labs at leading companies.  Utilizing 20 pieces of equipment, more than 200 engineering and technology students per year will benefit from the lab, supporting Wentworth’s value of hands on experiential learning.  Tours will begin at 11am and 12pm, limited space.

1:00pm-3:00pm, Athletics Reunion & Alumni Tailgate,  Sweeney Field, Join your fellow alumni for a complimentary BBQ. (Registration required, registration information coming soon).

1:00pm-4:00pm, Harvest Festival & Build-a-Leopard, Watson Auditorium, Stop by the Harvest Festival to participate in activities and crafts that are fun for the whole family.  Tickets required fro Build-a-Leopard (click here to reserve your Leopard). All other events, activities and snacks are free.

3:30pm, Men's Soccer vs. Gordon College, Sweeney Field

6:30pm, WAA Alumni Awards & Athletics Hall of Fame Dinner, Watson Auditorium, Join the Wentworth Alumni Association and the Athletics Department in honoring a select few of your fellow alumni for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the Wentworth community. 7:00pm and 9:00pm, On-Campus Entertainment, Magician David Hall, Evans Way/Tudbury Auditorium, You could go to any normal magic show or you could watch an action packed show that includes paintball bullet catching, daring bunny stunts, mind-blowing mindreading and hilarious comedy magic.  Snacks provided.  For a preview of the act click here

7:30pm, Improv Asylum, (sold out), Improv Asylum is a comedy theater that features improvisation, sketch comedy and has been described as "Whose Line is it Anyway?" meets "Saturday Night Live". Nothing is predictable, anything can happen and it's never the same show twice.  

8:00pm, Blue Man Group, Charles Playhouse  (sold out), Blue Man Group is best known for their wildly popular theatrical shows which combine music, comedy and multimedia theatrics to produce a totally unique form of entertainment. 

9:00pm, Shear Madness Comedy, Charles Playhouse (sold out), Set in a hairstyling salon that is the scene of a wacky murder, Shear Madness is the uproarious whodunit where the audience gets to solve the crime.

Sunday October 20

9:00-11:00am, Jazz Breakfast, Watson Auditorium, Relax to the soulful sounds of jazz from the Brian Fitzpatrick Trio as you unwind from the busy weekend.  As a special treat Wentworth's first and only a capella group Note-oriety will perform as well. (No tickets required)

10:00am &11:00am,  Duck Tours, (tickets required), Departing from the West Lot, It wouldn't be a trip to Boston without a memorable Duck Tour! Take a historic ride throughout our great city with a knowledgeable ConDUCKtor.

Additional Services and Hours

Douglas D. Schumann Fitness Center Want to get a workout in this weekend?   Visit the new Fitness Center in the Flanagan Center.  Visitors can pick up a one-time guest pass at the Info Hub on their way in.  Showers and lockers are available for use as well.  Fitness Center users must be 18 or older. Fitness center hours are: Friday 6am-9pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, & Sunday 10am-9pm

 Wentworth Bookstore Don’t forget to use your  bookstore coupon to receive 10% off all clothing and gift items. The Bookstore is located in Flanagan 025. Bookstore hours: Friday: 9am-6pm, Saturday: 9am-4pm, Sunday 11am-2pm

 Prayer and Meditation Space Looking for a quiet place to center yourself?  Or a space for daily prayer or meditation?  We have what you’re looking for in Flanagan 029.  A foot sink, prayer rugs, and meditation cushions are available for use. The Prayer and Meditation Room is open: Friday 6am-11pm, Saturday 8am-11pm, & Sunday 10am-11pm

 Beatty Cafeteria Come check out our recently renovated Beatty Cafeteria!  Offering hot entrees and a large selection of foods all day.  Don’t forget to pick up your coupons at check-in for a free meal on Saturday! Beatty Cafeteria is open: Friday 7am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-6:30pm

 Flanagan Info Hub The Flanagan Info Hub is available all day to provide answers to your questions.  If you want information, we’ve got it.  The Info Hub also sells tickets to the Museum of Science, the Omni Theater and the Planetarium ($5.00 each) and to local movie theaters ($8.00 each). The Info Hub is open: Friday 6am-11pm, Saturday 8am-11pm, & Sunday 10am-11pm
