I wasn't able to purchase tickets to Blue Man Group/Shear Madness/Improv Asylum etc... will more tickets become available?
We do not plan to purchase additional tickets for the Saturday evening shows.  We hope that you will join us on-campus our comedy magician and his amazing magic and daring bunny stunts.
You can also purchase tickets on your own by visiting each theater's box office
      Blue Man Group:
      Shear Madness:

Will parking be available?  Will handicapped parking be available? Parking will be available throughout the weekend in the West Lot (on the corner of Ruggles St. and Huntington Ave.) and in the Parker Street Lot (on the corner of Parker Street and Annunciation Road).  Handicapped parking is available in the West Lot.  Overnight parking is not permitted.

What events are appropriate for children or younger siblings? All of our on-campus events are appropriate for family members of all ages, even Casino Night!  Because there is no money exchanged at Casino night even those who are below the legal gambling age can participate.  (Even if your children aren't ready for the blackjack or poker tables just yet, we do have bingo and a few other kid-friendly games.)  And of course all kids can participate in the Future WIT soccer game Saturday morning.  As for our off campus events, Blue Man Group is recommended for ages 8 and up, and no one under 5 is allowed in the theater.  Shear Madness is recommended for ages 12 and up, and Improv Asylum is recommended for ages 17 and up.

Which events are free?  Which events will I need to pay for? All events taking place on campus (with the exception of the Build-a-Leopard station at the Harvest Festival) are free to attend.  Off-campus events including Blue Man Group, Improv Asylum, Shear Madness, and Duck Tours will require a ticket to be purchased.

Do Duck Tours really pick us up at Wentworth? What if it rains, will Duck Tours be canceled? Yes, the Duck Boats will be waiting for you in the West Lot on Sunday morning (just make sure to bring your ticket and your rain gear!)

Do I need money for Casino Night? No, there is no fee associated with Casino Night.  Each participant will get a bag of chips that can be redeemed for raffle tickets at the end of the night.

A member of my party has food allergies, will he/she be able to eat on campus? Contact the Family Weekend coordinator at and she will be happy to go over the planned meals for Family Weekend so that you can make the best decision for your party.

How can I purchase tickets to the Museum of Science/Museum of Fine Arts/local movie theaters? Tickets to the Museum of Science will be available throughout Family & Alumni Weekend by visiting the Flanagan Center Info Hub (ground floor).  These tickets are just $5 (inquire about Planetarium and Omni theater passes as well).  We may also have a small amount of tickets available to the Omni theater at the Museum of Science; these tickets are also $5.  Remember, Wentworth students always get in free at the Isabella Stewart Garner Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts.  Schedules for all these attractions will be available at check-in.  We will also have tickets available to the Fenway Regal Theater and the AMC Theater at Boston Common, both for $8 apiece.  Movie schedules will be available at check-in.
