System Updates
Student Email Upgrade LiveEDU to Office365
Wentworth Institute of Technology’s student email system will soon be upgraded from Microsoft Live@EDU to Microsoft Office 365. This new platform represents a major investment in cloud focused technologies by Microsoft and will enable you to stay current with cross platform and mobile device support.
We expect your account to be upgraded during the week of April 29th, 2013. This time was chosen because it is after Spring Final Exams and before the Summer Semester begins.
What does this mean for you?
After the upgrade you will have two separate accounts with the same user name and password that you use to access Live@edu.
- Office 365 account. This account gives you access to your school email. Wentworth’s Division of Technology Services administers this account.
- Personal Microsoft account. This personal account will give you access to all your existing SkyDrive content, Messenger, and other Microsoft services. Note that Wentworth’s Division of Technology services no longer administers this account. As a result, DTS cannot reset the password for you.
