
Christine Bettendorf
Director of Academic OperationsChristine moved to Massachusetts in 2004 from Michigan. She started working at Wentworth that same year. While working at Wentworth, she completed her master’s degree from Northeastern University. Christine loves spending her free time with a book, or in her garden.

Larry Carr
DeanLarry joined the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) after a long career in the private sector, with global, high tech companies like Raytheon; smaller technology development companies to include Bolt Beranek & Newman Inc.; and most recently with small, rapidly growing startup firms. He is committed to a growth strategy for CPCE that is built upon meeting the unmet needs of our adult learners, and providing them with opportunities to advance their careers with a new set of skills and competencies. The success of CPCE’s alumni provides abundant testimony to the strength of our educational programs and our commitment to providing our communities and their employers with a talented and prepared workforce.

Pauline Foley
Admissions CoordinatorPauline Foley began her career at Wentworth in 1991 working in the College of Design and Construction. After a reconfiguration of departments she transferred to the Continuing Education office, where she now works as the Admissions Coordinator. After attending some seminars and confiding in both her family and advisor, she began completing her bachelor’s degree program in the summer of 2010 and has been actively engaged since. She is a Lynn native and enjoys walking, reading, and gardening.

Phil Hammond
Director of CPCE Graduate ProgramsPhil Hammond joins the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) as Director of CPCE Graduate Programs. Phil’s duties include the master of science in construction management (MSCM) program, and the master of science in facility management (MSFM) program. Phil comes to CPCE from the Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts (AGC), where he served as the Director of Client Relations. He brings broad public, private and non-profit sector experience to WIT in leading the MSCM and MSFM programs. His work in the City Manager’s Office in the City of Worcester, his tenure at Cullinan Engineering and his association with the architecture firm Margulies and Perruzzi round out his 30+ years of planning, management and AEC experience. Phil has an MS in urban planning and holds designations as a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) and membership in the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). He lives close by the WIT campus in Boston.

Donna Keegan
Academic CoordinatorDonna has worked for Wentworth for 25+ years for various departments throughout the college. She recently earned her bachelor of science in business administration degree at Emmanuel College. She enjoys spending time with her grandson, Jacob. She also enjoys reading, dancing, and walking.

Keith Lewandowski
Marketing ManagerKeith Lewandowski is the marketing manager within the College of Professional and Continuing Education at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Previously, he worked in both marketing and research functions at Eduventures, a higher education research and consulting firm in Boston. Prior to Eduventures, Keith held research and business analyst positions at the Institute for Community Inclusion and at EMC respectively. Keith holds a master of arts in applied sociology from UMass Boston and a bachelor of arts in political science from UMass Amherst. He is currently working on his MBA at UMass Amherst's Isenberg School of Management. Keith resides in Medway, MA with his wife, Nicole, and their daughter, Julie.
Roger Parks
Academic AdvisorAfter working in the Office of Alumni Relations, Roger joins the College of Professional and Continuing Education as an Academic Advisor. Prior to Wentworth, he managed a residential facility for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. His new position allows him to practice the skills he learned in social work in a higher education environment. In his free time, Roger enjoys watching the Patriots, travel, and studying psychology and business.

Jonathan Small
Director of Online LearningJonathan Small joins the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) team as the Director of Online Learning. Jonathan comes to CPCE with the previous experience of having facilitated the launch of online degree programs for two other Boston area colleges. He most recently served as the Director of Online Programs for Bay State College and was previously the eLearning Program Manager for the New England College of Business & Finance. Additionally, he spent several years as a consultant with the Sloan Consortium, creating online training workshops on a variety of topics related to online learning, best practices for online instruction, and the adoption of technologies related to distance education. Jonathan holds a bachelor of arts in communications from the Pennsylvania State University and is currently completing his master’s degree in digital media management with Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies. He resides in Medfield, MA with his wife and two children.

Haylie Starin
Admissions CounselorHailing from Cleveland Ohio, Haylie packed up and moved to Boston last September. She now works as an Admissions Counselor in the College of Professional and Continuing Education where she enjoys working with her students and meeting new people. In her spare time, she explores the Boston area and all it has to offer!

Nathaniel Thomas
Associate Director of AdmissionsNate joins the College of Professional and Continuing Education staff as the Associate Director of Admissions. Prior to working at Wentworth, Nate held positions in higher education admissions with Northeastern University and Education Sales Management. Nate holds a bachelor of science in sociology from Minnesota State University, Mankato and a master’s of education in higher education administration from Northeastern University. When not at work Nate enjoys attending Red Sox games, hiking, and playing hockey.

Liem Tran
Director of New Program DevelopmentLiem has 20 years of experience in workforce development and non-profit management. He has developed a number of job training programs to prepare unemployed and under-employed adults for livable-wages jobs in the following industries: Environmental Technology, Bio-Tech, Financial Services, Hi-Tech and Construction. His extensive knowledge and experience in designing job training programs for the adult population led him to his current role at WIT. At the College of Professional and Continuing Education, Liem develops and maintains relationships with industries and community colleges to design degree completion programs for transfer students.
