Kevin Shea
Adjunct Instructor

Kevin M. Shea is a marketing/communications specialist with over 30 years of experience in crafting award-winning advertising and communications programs. After a decade plus in the advertising and financial service industries where he held a variety of management positions, he has run his own communications consultancy since 1994. From 1998-2013, he also serve as Senior Executive Vice President of Marketing and Promotions for Boston Harborfest, a not-for–profit cultural and historical July Fourth maritime celebration now it is fourth decade.

Professor Shea has been a college instructor since 1994, and teaches the following courses, with a concentration in oral and written communications: Advertising & Sales Promotion, American Literature, Business Ethics, Business Writing & Communications, English Composition, English Grammar, Individual and Small Group Communications, Fundamentals of Human Communications, Intercultural Communications, Leadership & Management, Marketing, Public Speaking, Project Management and Quality Customer Service. Kevin is an adjunct instructor for Wentworth Institute of Technology in the Online Learning Department.

Mr. Shea was also honored as the first two-time recipient of the Edward Shaunessey Award as Instructor of the Year in both 2003 and 2008 at the New England College of Business and Finance by his students and colleagues, as well as being name instructor of the year at Bay State college in 2014.
