Sandie Owen
Adjunct Instructor

Professor Owen has worked within the financial services industry since 1970, beginning in insurance, moving to officer and senior level positions in banking and founding Wellington Group Incorporated in 1990.  As a full time consultant to financial companies in the areas of training and development, Wellington Group serves clients in six states domestically and has developed programming for the Ministry of Education in Bermuda and a Russian banking trade association hosting an educational symposium in the United States. She has served as project manager and contributing author on published text revisions on banking. 

Sandie has taught at the college level since 1987, serving as President of a Faculty Council and has been the recipient of prestigious awards for teaching excellence. Sandie serves as Professor of Record through Cambridge College for college credit programs taught through Year Up.  In early 2013, Sandie joined Wentworth Institute of Technology developing online courses at the graduate level.  Sandie is most passionate about working directly with students on ground or online.

She has an Advanced Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University, AS from New England College of Business and Finance, her BSBA from Eastern Nazarene College and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
