The managing construction for the wireless telecommunication industry certificate is geared primarily towards field and administrative construction professionals who would like to transition into the wireless telecommunication industry.  Students will gain an overview of the wireless industry and become familiar with how to design, build, and project manage the development of a cellular network/cell site.

TMCW100 INTRODUCTION TO WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION INDUSTRY

This course provides an overview of the wireless (cellular) industry and its applications. Some of the basic topics will include History of Wireless, Industry Overview, Technologies, Cellular Network

TPMC100 INTRODUCTION TO PROJECT MANAGEMENT

This course provides an introduction to managing projects. Some of the basic topics include Design Processes, Scheduling, Financing, Production, Marketing, and Distribution. Organizational Structures will also be discussed.  Developing an action project will begin in this course.

TMCW110 BASIC CELL SITE CONSTRUCTION

This course provides an introduction and an overview of building a typical cell site within a cellular network. This includes Site Design, Civil Construction Overview, Electrical Systems and Utility Overview, Radio Frequency (RF) Overview, and Safety.
