Contact InformationFor more information on Alternative Spring Break Boston, please contact our student coordinators Anzia Mendez Neff and Brittany Guillermo-Wilson.
This year, for the first time, the Center will be sponsoring a local Alternative Spring Break trip. While the other two groups will spend their weeks in Florida and New Orleans helping those communities, ASB Boston will be servicing various human need organizations right here in Boston. Two student coordinators, Anzia and Brittany, researched ways to get involved all around the city and decided on six organizations with varying missions. During their week they will be addressing homelessness, hunger, poverty, child development, environmental impacts, and children with burn injuries. Participating students will be staying at the International Hostel in Chinatown and will commute to their events daily using the MBTA. All costs associated with their week will be covered through intensive fundraising efforts, led by the student coordinators and contributed to by all students involved in the trip.
